We are currently seeking to fill our Postdoctoral Fellow position at the Philadelphia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual.

FLSA: Exempt, Full-time
POSITION SUMMARY:
Seeking a motivated postdoctoral fellow to support a faculty’s research program focused on the impact of inflammation on a neuromuscular disease. The research program utilizes laboratory models to perform mechanistic studies and preclinical trials, with the overall goal to identify novel therapeutic targets for the disease. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask, be detail oriented, and work well independently and in a team environment. Expertise in immunology-related procedures such as flow cytometry and ELISAs is preferred, but not essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
* Proficiently conduct research using molecular biology techniques
* Perform animal experimentation
* Perform and oversee general lab maintenance
* Troubleshoot experiments
* Interpret data
* Train others in experimental techniques
* Participate in manuscript and grant writing
* Present research internally and at national and international conferences

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: PhD in a biology-related field (immunology preferred)
Work Experience: 0-0.5 years of postdoctoral research experience
Skills and Abilities: Must have the coordination and dexterity to perform laboratory techniques
