Emergency Leadership & Coordination
- Lead the planning, implementation, and management of emergency response operations in disaster-affected areas.
- Conduct rapid needs assessments and situation analyses in coordination with local teams, clusters, and partners.
- Establish operational hubs, set up response logistics, and ensure effective team mobilization and coordination.
- Represent the organization in coordination meetings with UN agencies, government authorities, donors, and other NGOs.

Team Management
- Supervise and support multi-disciplinary response teams including WASH, Health, Shelter, Protection, and Logistics.
- Foster a collaborative, safe, and productive working environment under challenging field conditions.
- Ensure team wellbeing, safety, and compliance with duty-of-care standards.

Program Implementation
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality humanitarian assistance aligned with Sphere standards, Core Humanitarian Standards, and organizational policies.
- Ensure that cross-cutting themes (e.g., gender, protection, accountability) are integrated into all emergency programming.
- Lead the development of response plans, project proposals, budgets, and reporting frameworks.

Security & Risk Management
- Monitor the evolving security context and lead emergency security planning and mitigation measures.
- Ensure adherence to organizational safety protocols and real-time incident management procedures.

Monitoring, Reporting & Learning
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to donors, partners, and organizational leadership.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to after-action reviews and strategic improvements for future responses.
