Job description: Year 2 Primary School Teacher | High Heaton, Newcastle | Start ASAPWe’ve got a bubbly Year 2 class in High Heaton waiting for a teacher who brings energy, ideas, and a good sense of humour. This welcoming primary school is after someone who’s ready to jump in and make a real difference, no clipboard micromanaging, just support where it counts.
- Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 16:00
- Start date: ASAP
As a primary school teacher you will be:
- Creating and delivering exciting, meaningful lessons.
- Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Encouraging curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
- Contributing to a warm, supportive school culture that feels like a family.
Who you are:
- Creative, adaptable, and ready to make a lasting impact.
- Confidence managing a class with your own style.
- You have QTS or equivalent.
- You have a strong understanding of the Year 2 Curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
