Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for one (1) tenure-track appointment in Finance in the Faculty of Business. The academic rank of the appointment will be commensurate with the qualifications of the successful candidate. The position will commence on August 1, 2025.

The Faculty of Business Administration is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The Finance major in the Faculty of Business Administration participates in the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.

The position will involve an active program of scholarly research, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance, supervision of Masters students’ research, and service contributions to the Faculty and the University.

Eligible candidates will have a Ph.D. in Finance (or be close to completion). A demonstrated record of research and teaching in Finance and experience with experiential learning and online or alternative modes of delivery is highly desired. Experience with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and teaching graduate courses in Finance is an asset.
