Field Coordinator (Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Kosovo)
Ektimisi is a research and development MENA-based consulting firm operating in many countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Eastern Europe Regions. Ektimisi provides a wide range of services for non-profit and civil society organizations, donors, research bodies, and academic centers. Through our field teams and local partners, we have access to and can provide Third- Party Monitoring (TPM), evaluation, research, capacity building, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment services in many locations in the Middle East (Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Occupied Territories of Palestine, and Turkey), North Africa (Libya, South Sudan, and Somalia), and Eastern Europe (Moldova and Ukraine).
Expected Role
Ektimisi is seeking Field Coordinators for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Kosovo with experience in field coordination and data collection. This is a part-time position, and fees will be charged based on a daily rate. The ideal candidates should be able to network, supervise field enumerators, and ensure the smooth operation of data collection activities in the field.
Key Tasks:
- Attend meetings with potential clients
- Creating or having a network of field enumerators in Bosnia/ Kosovo
- Provide training for field teams on the developed technical tools
- Analyze quantitative data
- Ensure the quality of the data which is coming from the field enumerators
- Working closely with field enumerators and communicate with them based on the task on daily basis
- Being able to organize transportation for the field teams to the areas of implementation
- Creating Kobo forms and other data collection forms
- Draft field reports
- Ensure deadlines are met and respected.
- Perform other duties arising from the nature of the tasks above based on development of business and work activities.
- Being able to travel (if necessary) to provide on field training or field missions
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the humanitarian sector (must)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data collection
- Ability to use digital data collection tools
- Speak English (minimum Intermediate level) (must)
- Having Statistical knowledge (highly preferable)
- A relevant university degree (social sciences, conflict management, development studies, etc.)
- Excellent skills with Word and Excel (highly preferrable)
- Have an ability to manage different activities and to meet deadlines
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
