The Department of Politics and Government offers majors in Political Science and in Legal Studies. We maintain 15-20 tenure/non-tenure track faculty members annually while serving roughly 400 majors and 120 minors. We offer classes in the following areas: American Government, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Political Theory, and Research Methodology. Legal Studies courses are geared to help students prepare for a paralegal career.
In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year, the Department maintains a pool of qualified persons interested in part-time, non-tenure track teaching positions. Applications are accepted continuously and reviewed as vacancies become available.
